There's something strange in the air. Something unseen. It's kind of strange really, the last couple of days. Fourth of July, fireworks everywhere celebrating, hiding the fact that something lurked underneath. A string of murders that have happened the past couple of weeks, leaving a trail to discover, Years ago-though many will not remember–a person with ties to local authorities died on the Fourth of July, before all of his underhand dealings were exposed. The strangest thing was that his daughter was kidnapped the same night, and no one had ever found her. The same thing happened the next year, and the next, until the 'supposed' murderer was caught. They never got him to trial as he killed himself before any information came to light, but is this the same murder happening, or is this a copycat killer?
For those who are affected, life feels like it's on a loop. They wake up again, it's fourth of July. The car-crash that happens on Canal Street. The amber alert that signaled a kidnapping. A grisly murder in Times Square. Life is repeating itself, but the events are changing and some people are aware. Is there anything they can do? Is there a way to get out of this loop? What's happening?
Hi everyone! We're doing a small mini-plot to get everyone going. Nothing permanent will come out of this plot if you don't want to, but the idea is that something is in the air, and it's doing different things to different people. The one thing that's for sure is that people are reliving the same week of July over and over. The facts are simple. Someone is going to be murdered and someone is going to be kidnapped, to never appear again. There is a car crash on Canal street that hit a storage truck. There is a person who claims to have seen the truth, that everything is repeating except everything isn't, and that if you're not careful, you'll be the one to die next. You don't get much further than that, and the next time you see them, they're dead, and somehow, you are too. And you wake up once again to the same news you've heard all week.
Will you believe them before it's too late? Will you change fate? Or will they get you again?
To play the game, you can sign up with how many characters you want, and among those involved, one will be the murderer, two are the victims, and one will be destined to try and change fate from happening the way it is. Meanwhile, those who notice that something is different are tasked to get to the bottom of it. Whether they were just around the site of the car crash, enough to notice a strange feeling they had, or whether they've realized that something isn't right due to their powers, they must work together to get to the bottom of this mystery, or they'll wake up at the end of the week on the Fourth of July once again.
