“—you think I’ll be the dark sky so you can be the star? I’ll swallow you whole”. Born from unholy darkness, from the moment he’d taken his first breath of life he’d been labeled a cursed child. A collapsing star; something orphic. Anyone with a good pair of eyes could see the darkness that followed him, regardless of the rumors that spread about him. He didn’t come from any demons' groins. Arid and vast, he is the stillness in a world of chaos; a progeny of a god. Whether it was luck or a passionate tryst that brought about his existence, only the gods would know. The only thing that has ever been known to rung true, is his aversion to the spotlight. Unlike his cousins whose stories are still sung about today, instead of seeking great adventures, or winning great glories, he didn’t see the point of it. Instead of honor and death, he chose to live and prosper. Perhaps some would call it cowardly, but at the end of the day, death has always had the last laugh. Neither good or evil - playing both sides of the moral compass, switching from good to bad like one would flip a coin. |

“—Do I still taste of war? Can you still feel the battles on my skin, stitched across my back, am I still rebuilding bone by fragile bone?” The ardent soldier. The wrathful soul. Tempered by war and forged in iron and fire; heir of ash and fire, he is the calculated chaos that no one ever sees coming. Originally born into an aristocratic household, he lived an almost boring leisurely life, often finding his own trouble in the backstreets, fighting his way to the top. Ambrose is a seemingly calm character, one of a quiet disposition, serious and somber, keeping all things classy. While he is a demanding creature, selfish, cruel, and extremely unreasonable, he's not so unreasonable that he's someone to hold a grudge. Instead he's a man who definitely keeps his promises. He's a gentleman after all, he wouldn't dare break his word. Because he's the real thing, this Greek adonis. A true jackal in disguise, it suits this smooth criminal just fine. It would be accurate to say his skills dare defy the way he looks. While it's hard to define what evil and good is, he's simply just performing the tasks in front of him, whether in love or war. You want a fight? He’ll bring you a war.. You want love? He’ll make you feel like you’re the only one in the world. For Ambrose, It’s all merely a way to a means. |
