THE HIGH PRIESTESS is the spiritual guide of the witch coven. She is the keeper of the sacred knowledge, connecting to the subconscious spirits of the witches. She is the oracle, the divine, who understand intuitively when the balance of the world is off. She is in charge of healing and guiding the students to their greatest potential, and hold power in deciding the moral compass of the Coven. She is changeable, looking out to the future of the coven.

THE HIEROPHANT is the judgment of the coven. He is the keeper of traditions and customs, of spiritual wisdom and knowledge and sacred traditions. He passes the knowledge of the divine down to the coven's followers. He is in charge of teaching the students spell-casting and defensive arts, as well as forming the unbending backbone of the coven. He must choose to preserve tradition, looking at past wisdom for the benefit of the coven.

	BEATRICE 'BEA' LYNN MURRAY Luciferin 22 / LONER / 5 LINK	Born to a middle-class working family in the borough of Queens, Bea never had high aspirations for herself. She lives above her family florist shop by herself, having taken over the business when her parents retired to up-state New York. She is optimistic to the core, though she can suffer bouts of melancholy from time to time which mainly stems from her lack of close friends and family. Friendly to everyone but friends with no one, Bea is lonely after the shop closes, so she puts her all into her work which is how she explains the extraordinarily well-to-do plants in and around her shop. Until she grew into her early twenties, Bea only believed she had her mother's green thumb, but after a few instances in which her ardent wishes seemed to be enough to bring about a revitalization in the plants she was tending, she was left to reconcile her talents with the fact that there was clearly something more at work. Still, she mostly ignores this part of her life and instead focuses on keeping her business up and running which is a handful in itself to be sure.
	EVADNE "EFFIE" WHITE kat 21 / CLUB & CONCERT DANCER / 5 / COVEN LINK	Nothing about New York said “safe haven” to Effie when she got off the plane. After leaving a small village in Finland, it couldn’t have been more of a culture shock. Her mother was dead, her father had insisted that she finished her last year of high school with the last of her family around, and all she’d had to her identity was her connection to the stars. It took months that felt like years, but by the time she was 18, she’d fallen more in love with the city than she ever thought possible. Her grandmother and mother had taught her basic wiccan rituals and spells, but after meeting just a few fellow mystical and powerful beings, she learned how to longer be tethered to the stars forgotten to the city. What’s more is she’s learned she’s not done - there’s more hidden to her past she’s yet to uncover. There’s an entire world she’s only begun to chip at, hidden in plain sight and stretching from the tip of the Freedom Tower to the bellies of Bushwick. She knows she’s not alone, which is as comforting as it is frightening, but most of all, it’s exciting.
	CARLISLE KASTLE Stark Raving Mad 227 / COVEN / 5 LINK	Jaded and withdrawn Carlisle isn't what you would call a 'people person'. His pipe dream in life is to be left alone for eternity but he knows the coven will never actually allow that. He considers himself retired for all intensive purposes and won't do anyone one any favors unless he has something to gain from it. Once a great alchemist among his king he now spends his days, and nights drinking alone. Anyone who has every heard of him (few have) would be disappointed if they were to ever meet him in person and he finds great joy in that fact.
	HYWEL MCKENNA achromatic 183 / LONER / 5 LINK	Growing up in war-time changes a person. It tempers the sword in the fire, it teaches one what desperation truly feels like, and some men are thrown into the fire, burnt to a crisp, but other men become hardened steel, and they walk out stronger than before. Hywel barely knew the time of prosperity he was born in––most of his childhood had been spent during the famine in Ireland. He grew up scrappy and hungry for something more, he grew up learning how to take care of his family at any cost. He was sixteen when they could finally afford to get on the ship towards the new world. Things were different, things were tough, but they had always managed. He inherited a natural gift for sorcery from his mother. The man had always had an affinity for things despite his more laid-back attitude. MORE+

She, like all of those who came before her, was naturally good at it, and soon, she bore the same skills that came before her. 	SELLO EKWENSI Nova 17 / COVEN / 5 LINK	A soul full of flowers and a head lost in music. Sello is a potted plant in the big city: a little out of place but adapting. Despite being born and primarily raised in NYC, he has the quietness of a suburban or small town boy. Only his loud mind and attraction for new sounds keeps him grounded in the city. He speaks better through music than any other language and likes tinkering with beats and lyrics. He wants nothing more than to live a normal life: growing up to be a composer, taking care of simple plants, and being alone as much as he wants. If he could decide, he would have never been born as a witch in the first place.
