A soul full of flowers and a head lost in music. Sello is a potted plant in the big city: a little out of place but adapting. Despite being born and primarily raised in NYC, he has the quietness of a suburban or small town boy. Only his loud mind and attraction for new sounds keeps him grounded in the city. He speaks better through music than any other language and likes tinkering with beats and lyrics. He wants nothing more than to live a normal life: growing up to be a composer, taking care of simple plants, and being alone as much as he wants. If he could decide, he would have never been born as a witch in the first place. His grandmother was a seloli, or a witch doctor focusing on divinations, in Lesotho. When her life started to become threatened for her practices, she immigrated to the United States and started a family. She saw something in the baby Sello, something magical, and taught him along with his sisters. Thus, he practices witchcraft more out of obligation than any actual use...also because while music came naturally to him, anything witch related did not. He felt like he had bone reading dyslexia, stammered over rituals, and mixed herbs up. Certainly there were times he had been right, but as a quiet perfectionist, he wonders if he makes his grandmother, and everyone around him, proud.
