There's no question about it, I love to write! I like action and suspense and surprises and romance, all things that are sadly lacking in my life. 
I'm a grocery store worker who lives alone with four Afghan hound dogs. I'm out in the country and I love it.
I've spent years studying animals and animal behavior. I'm an avid collector of just about anything weird and a few things that aren't. I love to read.
As for RPGing, I started out on the 'Dragon's Inn,' which probably makes me at least a millennia older than most of you guys. My imagination is a pain in the neck because it continuously gives me material for writing and creating characters. Every now and then I have to pull on its reins and yell 'whoa!'
At the moment I have four and a half characters at play on this site: Lycari, a shapeshifter, Akiahr, a 'mutant,' Dakhan, a vampire, a human Hunter and the half character is Hunter's cu sidhe, McRorie. I'm hoping that McRorie eventually becomes a full character.
I have a lot of spare time on my hands <whoa there, imagination> which leaves me plenty of time for writing. I also must keep reminding myself that there are different time zones and that other people actually have lives!
