The First Page is an eclectic kind of bookstore guaranteed to have something for everyone. Except porn. The proprietress figures you can pick that stuff up at the corner store. The store offers hard backs, mass market and graphic novels. From the classics to how to do magic, from romance to informative works, The First Page has it all!
It is run by Hunter Dumont who hasn't seen a great amount of sales yet, but she's hoping that the friendly atmosphere will boost sales. With its myriad of stacks and soft couches for those who can't afford to buy, but want to read anyway, anyone can sit down and take mental vacations into reading and chat up the proprietress.
It turns out to be a good thing that Hunter's inheritance allowed her to buy the place outright, especially since it has a huge apartment upstairs where she lives.
