Autumn Hewitt generally disliked making her way into the city, partially because it wasn't worth her time to interact with humans. But the Coven had sent her to speak to a new witch, one considering joining, and the convert wanted to meet in a public place. So Autumn made the trek from her small cabin into the noisy, dirty city, drawing the appreciative and envious stares she always did.
Her succubus blood was written into every feature on her face. She was classically beautiful, with her long black curls, her vivid blue eyes, and her clear, pale features. But that alone wasn't her charm- there was an aura that had surrounded her since childhood, one that drew others to her like a moth to a flame. She appreciated her powers- it made getting her way ridiculously easy, and she had used that ability to learn more magic than many witches ever did.
Her meeting with the convert was over as soon as it began. Her gentle smile, friendly demeanor, and her supernatural persuasion meant the convert was set on joining the Coven as soon as Autumn suggested it. They chatted a while longer in the hotel lobby where they had met, with Autumn giving her tips for a beginning witch, before they parted ways. The High Priestess had meant to go home as soon as she could- the lobby had been bustling with insignificant non-magic beings- but someone caught her eye as she stood. A man, tall and magnetic, standing near the reception desk, who could be nothing other than a strong supernatural. A smile curled her lips, drawing a dreamy stare from a middle aged man a few tables away. With a quick, confident gait Autumn approached the stranger, turning her charm on to its full effect. "Good afternoon," she greeted the man in a warm, lilting tone, her lashes sweeping over her sapphire gaze. "I hadn't expected my afternoon to be even remotely interesting, but that seems to be changing now."

The Elysium, originally a Greek hotel of world renown, run by its founder, Demetrius Nox; sat there in the heart of the city welcoming weary travelers through it's grand doors. While testing the waters in North America, the hotel after a couple of years had expanded smoothly as it made New York it's main branch in the states. Everything appeared perfect on the surface, but it was his task to find out whether they lived up to that standard.
The moment Demterius had stepped into the building, he was already doing his work. Though no one ever noticed him walk in, he watched as people milled in and out of the hotel, the doormen holding doors, and of the course the rest of the staff welcoming in their guests. Having come glamouring his presence to hide in plain sight, to the normal person it was like he wasn't even there. It was perfect, or at least he thought so.
From the time he'd arrived from the few hours that had passed, only he could manage something like combing through the entire building in a leisurely manner, absorbing in everything that he'd seen. From the looks of it they were living up to the Elysium high expectation. With its uniformed management likening to the ones he'd left overseas, the man was pleased to see the progress it'd made since its opening up just a couple years ago.
Once his inspection had come to a close, walking into the lobby, he made his final stop at the reception desk where he had decided to rest a moment. Smoothing his dark suit down, he was just about to drop his glamour when a feminine voice caught his attention, the tone dripping with honey-sweet seduction and confrontation. It couldn't possibly been aimed at him. He should've been hidden by his glamour, unless the other party was sensitive to his powers...Curious his dark gaze fell over her, meeting her sapphire orbs in a quiet connection.
Certainly a pretty thing... He couldn't help his thoughts, while some of it may or may not have been from her charm, even without it, he could appreciate something beautiful in front of him. But for the most part no matter how attractive her voice was, he was still very much in control of his thoughts and actions. If only for little while, he didn't see why he couldn't just play along with her if not for his own entertainment.
With his lips eventually curving into an all to attractive smile, he greeted her politely in in low resonating timbre, add on the faint lilt of a fading accent, it was almost criminal how luring it was. "Hm," Demetrius hummed as he stared down at her. "Is that so, I wonder why that would be..." His smile still remained. "Perhaps you've seen something you've taken liking too?"

"Quite a liking to," Autumn corrected him with a wide smile, leaning against the countertop of the reception desk as she looked at Demetrius. She could also appreciate the physical attraction she felt towards people, even if her mission at the moment relied more on ability than appearance. This man could have been the ugliest in the room, but if his powers had been as strong as they were now then Autumn would have approached with just as much seduction.
As it stood now, his appearance was just the icing on the cake.
Perhaps if he knew her true motives, he would think her insane. That was a fair assessment- Autumn always held that people must always be a little crazy to attain greatness. True brilliance was never appreciated in its time. And that's what Autumn was aiming for- a revolutionary change in the world, a shifting in power and population to favor the supernaturals. Not everyone would understand her motives, but as long as they cooperated Autumn would be happy.
He must be stronger than she had anticipated- usually the full force of her charm would leave a person speechless. Perhaps this game would be more fun than she'd expected- a true test of her will and her dedication. "I hadn't expected to meet someone like myself here." She was more upfront with her supernatural status than the average witch, readily revealing herself to those she recognized as similar to her.
